One dress can go a long way! Having style or panache doesn’t have to be expensive! One dress can be styled in many different ways depending on your mood and schedule. Whether you’re at the office, home or you’re out and about town, these looks are easily doable and can be achieved using items that you likely already own.
A sheath dress is a straight cut dress that skims your body and typically hits above the knee. Choose a sheath in a neutral color like grey, black, brown blue, crème or even red. Select either a solid or simple pattern so that you can mix and match easily with pieces you already have. A knit fabric provides a bit of give so that it doesn’t pull or bunch while you’re on the go. A sleeveless or short sleeved sheath is more versatile as it can be worn virtually year round.
Aside from wearing your sheath by itself there are a multitude of variations that you can create. Choose a turtleneck to put under your sheath and pair it with knee-high boots for a chic, modern effect. If you have an important meeting or a day at the office put on a crisp white button down underneath and add a scarf to add accent and personality to accomplish a polished look. Meeting friends after work for a drink? Pair your sheath with a skinny belt and add a mid-calf boot or your favorite pumps that will help this outfit transition from day to night. For a more laid back look try your sheath over a pair of jeans. Finally in the cool weather try wearing your sheath over a pair of leggings. Layer on your favorite mid to heavy weight sweater over top for a cozy yet fashionable outfit. For each look, add jewelry to your taste.

So, spring will be here before you know it. If I had to choose a word that represents springs fashion, I'd say ultra-feminine. Lady-like frocks with bows, embroidery, embellishments, lame and layers in retro shapes. There is a strong Spanish theme that translates to flamenco ruffles, with off the shoulder details in all shades of red. Romantic ruffles, pastels, feathers, in chiffon with sheer details. For those graphic looks, we'll see lots of solid stripes. We’ll also find bomber inspired jackets, leather pants and hot pants in voluminous styles with a sporty vibe. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
